Install a widget

From registration to a published widget on your website.

    Create an account

    Sign up for Pliget or sign in to an existing account.

    Open your dashboard

    Go to your Pliget dashboard after signing in.

    Create a site

    In the dashboard, create a site for the website where your widgets will appear.

    Create a widget inside the site

    Open your site, add a widget and choose its type. Configure the content, appearance and behavior in its editor.

    Publish the widget

    Open the widget editor’s Publish tab, complete the available publication settings and publish the widget. Draft widgets are not publicly delivered.

    Copy and install the embed code

    Copy the generated embed snippet from the Publish tab and paste it into the target website. Test the live result.

Install on your website

  1. Create the widget in your Pliget dashboard and configure its content and appearance.
  2. Save and publish it. Drafts are not delivered by the public widget endpoint.
  3. Copy the embed snippet from the widget editor and place it on the target website.
  4. Verify the public widget on desktop and mobile. Make sure the site origin and publication settings are correct.

Illustrative snippet: use the exact generated code and widget ID from your dashboard. Do not reuse another site's ID.
