1. Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Pliget, including its website, dashboard, APIs, hosted widget assets and related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for promptly notifying us if you believe it has been compromised.
3. The service
Pliget lets customers configure and embed website widgets and may provide hosting, synchronization, analytics, integrations and other related functionality. Features can vary by plan and may change as the product develops. We may improve, replace or discontinue features, while taking reasonable steps to avoid unnecessary disruption to paid customers.
4. Plans, usage and payment
Free and paid plans may differ by websites, widget instances, features, analytics and resource limits. Ordinary widget views may be described as unlimited on eligible plans, while costly resources such as AI usage, storage, external synchronization or third-party services can have separate limits or charges. Comments may have a separate plan allowance. Form Builder submissions have no monthly plan quota and do not consume Credits; safeguards against abusive request rates still apply.
Paid subscriptions are billed according to the price and billing period shown when you subscribe. Taxes may be added where required. Unless stated otherwise at checkout or required by law, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not normally refund a billing period already started.
5. Customer content
You retain ownership of content you submit or connect to the service. You grant us the limited rights necessary to host, process, reproduce, transform and deliver that content solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights and lawful basis needed to use, display and process the content you provide.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to violate law or third-party rights; distribute malware; interfere with security or availability; attempt unauthorized access; misrepresent reviews or other content in a deceptive or unlawful way; abuse rate limits or infrastructure; or use the service to facilitate spam, fraud or harmful activity. We may restrict abusive use when reasonably necessary to protect users, third parties or the service.
7. Third-party services
Widgets may connect to third-party platforms or content sources. Those services are governed by their own terms and may change or restrict their APIs. We are not responsible for third-party services, but we will make reasonable efforts to handle integration failures gracefully.
8. Intellectual property
Except for customer content and third-party materials, the service, software, design, documentation and branding are owned by Pliget or its licensors. These Terms give you a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service during your account or subscription; they do not transfer ownership of the platform.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service, but uninterrupted or error-free operation is not guaranteed. Maintenance, security incidents, internet failures and third-party dependencies can affect availability. Beta, preview or demo functionality may change more frequently and may not be suitable for production use.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or unpaid amounts, normally after reasonable notice when the situation allows it. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination continue to apply.
Plans include different customer-history retention periods, with the current limits published on the Pricing page. After a downgrade to a shorter period, older history remains available during a 60-day grace period. The dashboard displays the exact deletion deadline. Upgrading to a sufficient plan before that deadline can preserve data that still exists. After the grace period, history outside the current plan may be permanently deleted, and data already deleted cannot be restored simply by upgrading. Billing, Credit, security and audit records can follow separate retention requirements. Widget, site and account deletion remain separate ownership lifecycles.
11. Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without guarantees beyond those expressly stated. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost data or losses caused by third-party services where such exclusions are legally permitted. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights where applicable.
12. Governing terms and disputes
The operator and applicable jurisdiction must be identified in the final production Imprint before commercial launch. Mandatory laws, including consumer and data-protection rules, continue to apply regardless of contractual choice-of-law wording.
13. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms when the service or legal requirements change. Material changes will be communicated where required. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
